- I just joined CompuServe from a Mac so I could download updates to Taxcut
- and the B&P software. I will probably keep the membership for a few months as
- there are some other "value-added" features available on CS that do not appear
- on the internet. However, if all I did was to join, use 10 hours downloading
- software and quit, I would not feel any guilt. That's what the trial
- memberships are for. I doubt that either CS or AOL expects a huge stick rate
- for their subscribers, although both services can offer both more and less than
- what you can get on the internet in general. Most pundits feel CS and AOL have
- a limited lifespan anyway. Just my $.02 worth.
